Tribute to the Troops is an annual event dedicated to honoring members of our military. We invite you to join us for a day of support and appreciation for those who have served and are currently serving. We’ll personally thank 1,000 service members and veterans with free concert tickets that day!
This year we’re welcoming Gretchen Wilson, Eddie Montgomery, and Jerrod Niemann! Join us for this Incredible ALL STAR JAM!
If you are riding that day, you will need a vehicle to enter the park, but no vehicle is needed to attend the concert or other evening festivities.
We are proud to announce that we will have a charity give away to benefit The Road Warrior Foundation. All ages are welcome! Concert goers including children 5 and up will need a ticket. Also, be mindful that alcohol will be available for attendees 21+.
Badlands is proud to announce we will have multiple branches of the military present at the event. Other festivities include a 21 gun salute ceremony, a thrilling parachute jump, and an honorary flyover to honor our troops and more surprises you’ll NOT want to miss! The concert is located on the grass event field at Badlands Off Road Park
We recommend bringing chairs or a blanket if attending the concert. No chair bags, please. No outside food or beverages are allowed. Food trucks will be on site at the event.
Limited venue parking is available for $20 per vehicle.
There will be food vendors available during the concert. Alcohol will be available for purchase for concertgoers 21+ during the concert but only permitted on the events field in the designated area. NO carry-in alcohol is allowed at the concert. As always, alcohol is NOT permitted in the park.
The Badlands opens at 9:00 a.m. The event closes after the concert. Riding is available between 9:00 and 7:00 p.m. The Concert gates open at 6:00 p.m.
Enjoy extended riding Friday, the evening before the event, until 9:00 p.m. (Must have headlights, taillights, and a quiet exhaust under 90 decibels to ride past dusk. Must be registered to ride prior to 7:00 p.m.

Restrooms are available near the Badlands Pro Shop and porta potties will be available on the concert event field.
Leashed pets are welcome in the park and in the Badlands Pro Shop. Sorry, pets will not be permitted on the concert event field.
The park will be open and operating as usual but we do anticipate heavy attendance on the day of the event.
We recommend renting a vehicle from Adventure Rentals located near the entrance to Badlands. More info at adventurerentals.rent.

Absolutely! All trails are open on the day of the event.
We are giving away 1,000 free concert tickets to all military service members and veterans that day. A special salute and heartwarming tributes complement the evening.
